Monitoring

Our researchers are responsible for operating the Reserve’s System-Wide Monitoring Program (SWMP). SWMP provides scientists, resource managers, educators, and other coastal decision makers with frequent and high-quality water quality, weather, nutrient, and wetland plant community data.  Since 2012, the Reserve has maintained four water quality stations, one meteorological station, and collected nutrient and algal data that is all publicly available.
